Aims & Objectives
The following aims and objectives guide NAMLS's work as a national professional association for medical laboratory sciences in Nepal.

To work for the betterment of medical laboratory services in Nepal and protect the professional rights of medical laboratory scientists.

To represent and safeguard the rights and interests of medical laboratory professionals at national and international levels.

To provide technical guidance to government and non-governmental bodies regarding policies for laboratory practice regulation in Nepal.
- 4
To co-ordinate with concerned universities and polytechnic institutes for the development of medical laboratory education curriculum and examination systems.

To organise and operate assemblies, national conferences, seminars, symposiums, and continuing medical education (CME) programmes.

To promote and encourage research initiatives in medical laboratory sciences through institutional partnerships and funding efforts.

To make members aware of quality control management systems and promote best practices in clinical and diagnostic laboratories.

To publish bulletins and journals to further the scientific and professional mission of the organisation.

To represent and coordinate with national and international organisations including IFCC, APFCB, and other relevant bodies.

To grant honorary membership to national and international individuals making remarkable contributions to the advancement of medical laboratory sciences.
